Game Recap

Mt. Vernon went on the road to Marion last Friday seeking to avenge a season-opening loss. The Marauders wasted no time taking control of the game, scoring on all 6 of their offensive possessions in the first half. QB Jimmie Campbell led the offense, going 9-10 for 117 yards and 2 TDs, as well as 99 yards and 2 TDs on the ground, all of which he accumulated in the first half.

The defense put up another solid performance, flying to the ball and getting the Marion offense off the field quickly. The Giants lone score came with .01 seconds left on the clock.

The Marauders open HHC play this Friday on the road at county rival Greenfield-Central. Opening kick will be 7:30 PM
