The girls' varsity team continues to show improvement placing 8th out of 17 teams at the Lapel Invite. Some of the top teams in the area were competing, including the teams the Marauders were paired with in HSE, Noblesville and Westfield. The girls were led by Izzy VanHeel with a score of 89, who continues to show mental toughness when having an off-scoring day. Also contributing were Natalie Miner (96), Kylie Hyde (98) and Aerin Hubbell (94). Great job ladies! This was Kylie's first time breaking the 100 barrier, which all golfers know is a hurdle we have to overcome. Good job Kylie! The girls are back in action Tuesday as they take on the ladies from Shelbyville and Rushville.
