It was a low scoring affair from start to finish on Saturday night. With both teams struggling from the field, points were difficult to come by.
Defensively, the Marauders played a fairly sound game, no one more so than Brayden VanBenthuysen and Damon Van Horn, who came off of the bench and brought a lot of energy on the defensive end of the court.
Down by one with 8.3 seconds left in the game, the Marauders were able to execute a play drawn up in the time out to free up Cameron Sullivan for a 17 foot game winner. With the shot, the freshman Marauders hold on to first place in the HHC at the freshman level.
With several games being cancelled and rescheduled, the Marauders are set to finish their last week of the season with Knightstown and Jay County at home this Wednesday and Thursday and then a trip to Noblesville on Saturday.
