7th Grade brought home a new title this weekend! Beating Eastern in the first round 25-19 and 25-16, they went head to head against New Pal for the coveted title. There was a narrow 7 pts separation between the two teams over the entire 3 set match. New Pal fell by 4pts in set 1, but barely took set 2 by 1pt. The Lady Marauders fought back to slay the Dragons in set 3 and won 17-15.
Emery Wampler did a great job at the back line with 7 serve pts and 4 aces. Belle Wanner did an excellent job covering the entire court as back row setter. Leah Kay had 5 well placed tips resulting in pts. Hope Heniser also provided great back row coverage.
