Girls Varsity Track · Lady Marauders take Runner-Up honors in Patriot Challenge

The Lady Marauders made the long haul to Terre Haute on Saturday to compete in Terre Haute North’s thirteen team Patriot Challenge. In the unique scoring situation in which you are able to score as many individuals in any event, MV was unable to keep pace with the host Patriots who were able to flex their depth and pick up several valuable 5th, 6th, 7th, and 8th place points. MV more than doubled up third place Seeger on the day.

Rough handoffs, a missed race, and a false start (that actually wasn’t, we have the tape!) helped THN maintain and expand their lead. The ladies are going to make mistakes and we are just happy to be getting those mental lapses out of the way early. 🙂
